The custom trip consulting services I offer are a natural outgrown of my more than 10 years’ experience traveling this beautiful island, nurturing ever-expanding knowledge and understanding of Sardinia, and being fortunate to have many contacts and friends ( including those who have become family) in what is the home of my heart.
If you are visiting the island, I can help you and your private group have unique experiences and expand your appreciation of Sardinia’s natural beauty, culture, history, people, arts — including food, wine, and, of course, textiles!
I offer several levels of consulting, by appointment only. Please contact me to request a session.

Custom Trips
Sessions by appointment starting September 2025 for trips after this date.
If you would like to have your entire itinerary set from the time you arrive in Sardinia to the time you depart the island, so that your trip is mapped out, and all hotel reservations, most dinner reservations, and other activities planned and reserved for you, I can help. This level of planning service ranges from $250 to $350 per tour day, for trips of 1 to 4 people for up to 10 days. The exact rate depends upon the season you’ll travel, lead time, and the types of activities you seek. We’d discuss in our first meeting.
Traveling in Sardinia and Typical Activity Suggestions
To help you experience and enjoy Sardinia while expanding your understanding of the island’s nature, culture, history, arts, and people, the suggestions I include consider your interests and typically include a mix of visits to studios of handweavers and other artists and craftspeople, galleries, museums, historic sites, prehistoric monuments, beaches, short hikes, boat rides, historic city centers, and other activities.
Suggestions and your experience of Sardinia will vary according to the season in which you visit. Sardinia’s tourist season runs from about May to October. During the off season (roughly November to April), most hotels, restaurants, and shops that cater to tourists are closed, and museums, restaurants, shops, and other businesses that cater to locals often have reduced hours. If you’re making your first trip to Sardinia, traveling during the long summer season, especially towards the start or end, will give you an expanded feel for the beauty and culture of this magnificent island.
Special for Handwoven Textile Enthusiasts
If you visit one or more of the handweavers mentioned on this site and purchase at least €400 of textiles from them during your trip, I’ll refund $75 of the consulting/coaching fee after verifying with them. Ask me about this when we have our Zoom session.
